Anti-static cement mortar is a specialized functional mortar designed for flooring applications that require conductive (anti-static) properties. By adding conductive materials—such as conductive powders or conductive fibers—to conventional cement mortar, a uniform conductive network is formed. This network enables the rapid and effective dissipation of static charges, preventing the accumulation of static electricity that could lead to sparks or interference. As a result, it provides safety protection for sensitive electronic equipment and environments that are prone to flammability or explosions.
Core working principle:
Traditional cement mortar is an insulator with a very high volume resistivity. Antistatic mortar, on the other hand, incorporates conductive components—such as graphite, carbon black, metal powders, or fibers—to create a continuous and stable conductive pathway within the mortar. When static charges accumulate on the surface, they can be quickly dissipated into the ground through these pathways, thereby eliminating static electricity.
Main features:
1. High-efficiency static conductivity: Possesses stable and low surface and volume resistivity, enabling rapid dissipation of static electricity.
2. High mechanical strength: It boasts excellent compressive and flexural strength, is wear-resistant and durable, and has a long service life.
3. Environmentally friendly and harmless: Most products are water-based, non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free, meeting environmental protection requirements.
4. Convenient construction: It bonds firmly with concrete substrates and can be applied by scraping just like ordinary mortar, making it easy to ensure a smooth floor surface.
5. Corrosion Resistance: Possesses excellent resistance to alkalis, oil stains, and other corrosive substances.

Anti-static cement mortar is primarily used in any location where it is necessary to prevent the accumulation of static electricity, ensure safety, and protect equipment and products.
1. Electronics, Communications, and Computer Industry
● Electronic component manufacturing workshop: In workshops for manufacturing integrated circuits, chips, and semiconductors, static electricity can damage precision components.
● Communication equipment rooms: switch rooms, server rooms, data centers, and more.
● Electronics Assembly and Testing Workshop: An area dedicated to the assembly, testing, and repair of precision electronic products.
2. Flammable and Explosive Hazardous Areas
● Petrochemical industry: Gas stations, refineries, chemical plants, hazardous-material warehouses, etc., to prevent electrostatic sparks from causing explosions or fires.
● Aerospace: Aircraft hangars, fueling areas, ammunition storage facilities, and spacecraft assembly workshops.
● Fireworks and firecrackers production and storage warehouse.
3. Medical, Precision Instruments, and Laboratories
● Hospital operating rooms: Prevent static electricity from interfering with sensitive medical equipment (such as MRIs) and the explosion of anesthetic gases.
● Biological laboratories and pharmaceutical factories: Certain experimental environments and sterile workshops that are sensitive to static electricity.
● Precision instrument manufacturing and metrology laboratory.
4. Other public and industrial venues that require antistatic protection
● Military command center, communications hub.
● Financial industry data center.
● Large supermarkets, logistics warehouses (high-rack warehouses).
● Textile, paper, and printing mills (to prevent static electricity from causing adhesion and operational inconvenience).
