4. Scope of Application
● Industrial acid-resistant equipment construction:
It is used for equipment foundations, acid storage tanks, workshop floors, trenches, and other structures in industries such as chemical engineering, petroleum, and metallurgy that are subject to acid corrosion. It can also be employed as a lining for chimneys exposed to gaseous acid corrosion. Furthermore, it can be used to prepare acid-resistant mortar for laying acid-resistant bricks and panels, or mixed with acid-resistant aggregates to produce acid-resistant concrete.

● Allocation method:
When preparing mortar or acid-resistant concrete, it is necessary to add sodium fluorosilicate as a hardening agent and thoroughly mix it evenly with acid-resistant cement. It is best to sieve the mixture twice. Then, use a water glass solution with a specific gravity between 1.38 and 1.45 and a modulus ranging from 2.60 to 2.80 for mixing. Mixing with water is strictly prohibited.
● Construction time:
It is advisable to mix no more than 100 kilograms of mortar each time. The prepared mortar must be used within 45 minutes. All tools and containers used must be free of moisture and other impurities. When laying acid-resistant bricks, pay attention to staggering the joints.
● Substrate preparation:
Before construction, metal equipment should be de-rusted and cleaned of dirt. Brick structures should be thoroughly washed. Surfaces of ordinary alkaline cement structures should first be neutralized with acid, then rinsed clean with water, and finally heated and dried. The moisture content should generally be below 4%.
● Maintenance requirements:
Acid-resistant cement should be allowed to harden at temperatures above 10°C and cured in air for about 10 to 20 days. During the curing period, avoid exposure to steam, water, or direct sunlight to prevent cracking. If cracks do appear, they should be repaired promptly.
8. Precautions for Use
Construction environment temperature: -5°C to 35°C. The water-to-cement ratio is an important performance indicator for this product. Please add water according to the manufacturer’s specified water-to-cement ratio, and use mechanical mixing equipment to ensure thorough and uniform blending before construction! If the water-to-cement ratio is improperly adjusted, it may affect the product’s performance. This product is a finished item—do not add any other substances arbitrarily, as this could compromise its functionality and quality system! If this product has expired, it should be properly disposed of and not reused. Any leftover material after mixing that has not been used up must never be mixed with fresh material for further use! When carrying out outdoor construction in rainy weather, a rain shelter must be set up. The mixed material must be used within 30 minutes; once the initial setting time has passed, the slurry will begin to set and lose its effectiveness! Once the package is opened, the contents must be used up in one go to prevent moisture absorption and clumping.
